1

Dr. Prasad Dhore Database Management System Flipped Classroom Approach Students were provided with pre-recorded video lectures and curated resources explaining the concepts of Primary Key, Foreign Key, and Unique Key, including SQL syntax and examples. The videos were uploaded on the college LMS and shared via Google Classroom/WhatsApp. Duration: 15–20 minutes video covering Definition and importance of keys, and Differences between Primary, Foreign, and Unique Keys.

2

Dr. Prasad Dhore Database Management System Mentimeter’s Quiz The field of Database Management Systems (DBMS) is foundational in computer science education. Students often struggle to differentiate between various types of SQL commands such as DDL, DML, DCL, and TCL. A student-centric teaching approach using Mentimeter’s quiz feature was implemented. This session focused on interactive learning through live quizzes, aiming to strengthen students’ conceptual clarity and encourage active classroom participation.

3

Dr. Priyanka Halle Internet of Things Flipped Classroom Method – Technical Presentation on IoT Beyond the Syllabus Students explore IoT topics through online resources, research papers, and videos before class. In class, individually they discuss and present the topic and present their findings with technical explanations. To enhance students’ understanding beyond the prescribed syllabus, innovative teaching methods are used to encourage creativity and develop practical and presentation skills.

4

Dr. Renukka Jale Theory of Computation AI-TOOL – Mentimeter Quiz Mentimeter was used to conduct an interactive session with GATE-level Theory of Computation questions. Helped students understand the exam pattern, difficulty level, and question style of competitive exams.

5

Prof. Ashwini Utture DELD Flipped Classroom Provide pre-class videos or notes for topics like Boolean Algebra, SOP/POS, FSM, etc. In classroom: Solve problems, Conduct discussions, Guide mini activities. Encourage students to ask doubts based on pre-learning materials. In class, students solved numerical and logic design exercises in groups. Focused on doubts and higher-level application questions.

6

Prof. Kirti Borhade Data Structure AI-TOOL – Mentimeter Quiz Mentimeter quiz is an interactive teaching tool that engages students through real-time questions and instant feedback. It promotes active learning by allowing anonymous participation via smartphones or devices. It fosters collaboration, inclusivity, and immediate assessment of student comprehension.

7

Prof. Dipamala Chaudhari Computer Network and Security Model Making In this activity, students engage in constructing physical or conceptual models related to topics from their coursework. The exercise involves designing, creating, and presenting a model that represents a concept, system, process or idea from their subject. Model making integrates hands-on practice with theoretical understanding, encouraging students to think critically about how abstract ideas can be represented visually and practically.

8

Prof. Dipamala Chaudhari Operating System Flipped Classroom In this flipped classroom activity, students first study the Banker’s Algorithm at home through videos and reading materials to understand concepts like safe states, resource allocation, and deadlock avoidance. During class, the instructor presents a problem on the board, and students collaboratively solve it step by step. This interactive, board-based approach reinforces understanding, encourages peer learning, and helps students build confidence in applying the algorithm in real scenarios.

9

Prof. Kavyashree H N System Software and Operating System Interactive Quiz using AI Tool (Mentimeter) Real-time quizzes were conducted to test student knowledge on various topics, such as System software architecture, Process management, Memory management, File systems, and Types of operating systems.

10

Prof. Rupali Kaldoke Data Structure Group Discussion Students are divided into small groups (5–6 students each). Each group is assigned a sub-topic from the Data Structures syllabus such as Array, Stack, Queue, Linked List, Tree, Graph, or Hashing. Students discuss concepts, advantages, real-time applications, and performance trade-offs. Representative from each group presents the group’s consolidated understanding in front of the class, followed by a question–answer round.

11

Prof. Rupali Kaldoke Data Structure Expert Talk An expert session on Data Structures topics – Stack, Queue, and Linked List was organized for SE Computer Engineering students. The session was conducted by a Board of Studies (BoS) member from Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU). The expert explained the conceptual understanding and industry relevance of these fundamental data structures, demonstrating their role in memory management, recursion, and real-time applications. Students actively participated by asking queries and solving live examples during the session.

12

Prof. Rupali Kaldoke Data Structure Flipped Classroom Students were assigned the topics and informed to watch pre-recorded video lectures on Binary Search Trees (BST) covering concepts such as node structure, insertion, deletion, traversal, and applications. In the classroom, students explain the concept to their peer learners and solve the problems on the concept.

13

Prof. Dipamala Chaudhari Web Technology Kahoot Quiz To foster a fun and competitive learning environment. A Web Technology Unit I Web Essentials and Mark Up Language HTML and Unit II Client side Technologies: JavaScript and DOM revision quiz was conducted through Kahoot. Covers Web Technology core topics: HTML, CSS, JavaScript. Quiz format: MCQs. Live leaderboard and feedback after each question. Mini-discussions to clarify and reinforce each topic.

14

Prof. Nutan Patil DELD Think Pair Share Think Pair Share (TPS) is a cooperative learning strategy to encourage students to think, then discuss in pairs, and finally share their thoughts aloud. This method works well to ensure that children are confident in their own ideas but can also accept others’ ideas and opinions.

15

Prof. Nutan Patil DELD Flipped Classroom Provide notes for topics like Boolean Algebra, SOP/POS, Combinational and sequential circuits, etc. In the classroom: Solve problems, conduct discussions. Encourage students to ask doubts based on pre-learning materials. In class, students solved numerical and logic design exercises in groups. Focused on doubts and higher-level application questions.
