Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering is one of the largest and most sophisticated branches of engineering. This is a rapidly growing sector where there is excellent job opportunity for the skilled professionals in different domain like VLSI and Embedded Systems, Artificial Language, Machine Learning, Data Science etc.
Skill based activities in different domain are conducted through value addition program (VAP), Internship, Professional Clubs and Industrial Visit. Giving emphasis on soft skill and research based activities.
Electronics and Telecommunication has a major role in improving productivity in industries like IOT, Embedded, VLSI, Image Processing, Agriculture, Data Science, Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, Deep Learning and so many other important sectors of economy.

Department Vision:
To be a nationally recognized department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering through outcome-based quality technical education, innovation and research in producing ethical, professionally competent engineers to serve the needs of industry and society.
Department Mission :
- To provide quality outcome-based education in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering through innovative teaching–learning processes and industry-aligned technological practices. .
- To develop technically competent, employable and industry-ready engineers in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering through hands-on learning and effective Industry–Institute interaction.
- To foster research, innovation, and problem-solving skills to address real-world engineering and sustainable societal challenges. .
- To inculcate professional ethics, social responsibility, teamwork, communication skills and lifelong learning for the holistic development of students as responsible engineers contributing to society.
