As the Head of the Department of Computer Engineering at NMIET, Talegaon, my vision is to nurture a learning ecosystem that empowers students to become competent, creative, and responsible technocrats. Our philosophy is rooted in Outcome-Based Education (OBE), where every academic and co-curricular activity is thoughtfully aligned with well-defined Programme Outcomes (POs), Programme Specific Outcomes (PSOs), and Course Outcomes (COs). We believe that education is meaningful only when learning outcomes translate into real-world skills, innovation, and professional success.
To ensure continuous quality enhancement, the department follows a robust academic quality implementation framework encompassing structured lesson planning, continuous assessment, attainment-based teaching interventions, stakeholder feedback analysis, and systematic review mechanisms. Our commitment to quality is reflected in transparent academic processes, well-designed course delivery, and evidence-based improvements.
Innovation lies at the heart of Computer Engineering, and we embrace it through innovative pedagogical practices such as project-based learning, flipped classrooms, activity-based sessions, peer learning, and skill-integrated mini projects.
