The department is committed to create the engineers with updated professional competencies to work in various domains and having moral and social attributes leading them to global competency by providing advanced technical infrastructure and learning environment.
State-of-the-art laboratories support the academic and practical needs of students, including Digital Electronics, Solid State Devices and Circuits, Signal Processing, Electronic Instrumentation, Network & Power Electronics, Digital Communication, Microcontroller & Embedded Systems, and Satellite Communication. The department also hosts a dedicated E-Yantra Robotics Laboratory, which enhances experiential learning through hands-on robotics and embedded systems applications.
More than 60% of the highly qualified and motivated faculty members hold doctoral degrees, reflecting their commitment to high-quality teaching and holistic student development.
With robust laboratory facilities, a well-designed curriculum, and ample opportunities for industry exposure, the department provides a dynamic and engaging learning environment. The Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering was established in 2008, the year the institute was founded, with the launch of its undergraduate program. Since its inception, the department has been committed to developing engineers with strong professional competencies across multiple domains, supported by sound ethical and social values that prepare them to excel globally. The department proudly received NBA accreditation in 2023.
