Workshop on Design Smart with Canva Activity Report
The session aimed to enhance participant’s skills in using Canva and to help them efficiently design posters, presentations, and social media content using simple tools and ready-made templates
ACM Chapter Inauguration
The Induction Program of the Newly Chartered NMIET ACM Student Chapter was organized by the Department of Computer Engineering, NMIET, on 04th February 2026 at the Auditorium Hall, Wing A, NMIET Campus.
Guest Talk The guest talk was organized jointly by the ACES and ACM Committees in offline mode on 04 February 2026 at the NMIET A-Wing Auditorium. The event featured two distinguished speakers, Dr. Atul Kahate, an eminent expert speaker, and Dr. Parag Kulkarni, Professor at Tokyo International University, Japan. The program was conducted with the objective of enhancing students’ knowledge, motivation, and understanding of technological growth and professional experiences.
Committee Association Room Inauguration
The inauguration ceremony was held in the esteemed presence of Dr. Parag Kulkarni (Chief Scientist & Advisor, iKnowlation Research Labs Pvt. Ltd.) and Dr. Atul Kahate (Software Professional, C-DAC Trainer, and Renowned Author). The ACES & ACM Committee Workspace was formally inaugurated by Dr. Parag Kulkarni and Dr. Atul Kahate through a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
Clash of Minds – A Competitive Debate Event
The Department of Computer Engineering, in association with ACES and the ACM Student Chapter, successfully organized “Clash of Minds – A Competitive Debate Event” The event was conceptualized with the objective of providing students a professional platform to articulate their ideas, present logical arguments, and engage in healthy intellectual discourse on contemporary, technical, and social issues.
Hands on Session on How to deploy Microservices application on GKE
This hands-on session aims to provide practical experience in deploying a microservices-based application on Google Kubernetes Engine using Google Cloud Platform. Participants will learn how to containerize services, create a GKE cluster, and deploy applications using Kubernetes manifests.
TechIgnite 2025 – Welcome to Computer Engineering
To welcome newly admitted students to the Computer Engineering Department. To introduce institutional heads, faculty members, and departmental functioning. To introduce students to ACES (Association of Computer Engineering Students) and its activities.
TechReboot 2025
To mark the reformation of ACES (Association of Computer Engineering Students) with renewed energy, creativity, and engagement. To engage students through interactive and skill-based activities like quizzes, strategy games, and AI challenges. To foster teamwork, quick thinking, and innovation among Computer Engineering students.
ACES RoundTable
To provide students with a practical, hands-on platform to experience and prepare for Group Discussions (GDs) that are a vital part of placement interviews. To enhance communication, confidence, and critical thinking among students.
Awareness Session on Lean Startup and Minimum Viable Product
To introduce students to the concept of Lean Startup methodology and its relevance in building sustainable and scalable ventures. To explain the importance of the Minimum Viable Product (MVP) in reducing development costs and validating ideas quickly.
