About First Year Engineering Department
The Future engineers start their journey through the Department of First Year Engineering. Hence the main aim of First Year Engineering department is to develop the strong foundation of students based on three basic criteria.
First criteria is to develop necessary academic knowledge based through proper understanding of Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and fundamental subjects of major engineering disciplines such as Systems in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Engineering Graphics, Engineering Mechanics, Programming and Problem Solving and Audit Courses etc.
Second criteria is to induce innovative thinking and creative abilities through the exposure to the various Engineering subjects with problem solving techniques which they study during first year.
Third Criteria is to make them aware about the necessary personality development, attitude , attributes and skillful responsible citizens of the country and society
