Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering is one of the largest and most sophisticated branches of engineering. This is a rapidly growing sector where there is excellent job opportunity for the skilled professionals in different domain like VLSI and Embedded Systems, Artificial Language, Machine Learning, Data Science etc.
Skill based activities in different domain are conducted through value addition program (VAP), Internship, Professional Clubs and Industrial Visit. Giving emphasis on soft skill and research based activities.
Electronics and Telecommunication has a major role in improving productivity in industries like IOT, Embedded, VLSI, Image Processing, Agriculture, Data Science, Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, Deep Learning and so many other important sectors of economy.

Department Vision:
To be a renowned department of Electronics and Telecommunication engineering for providing quality technical education through holistic development of the students.
Department Mission :
- To impart quality technical education for students with continuous upgraded teaching learning process.

- To enhance research competency in students by adopting state-of-the-art technology in Electronics and

Program Educational Objectives (PEOs)
- PEO1: To provide graduates with a professional career in Electronics, Communication and allied disciplines.
- PEO2: To develop managerial and entrepreneurial skills among the students to solve societal problems.
- PEO3: To impart analytical skills in order to develop a multidisciplinary approach to relate engineering issues and innovations.
- PEO4: To inculcate professional ethics and teamwork spirit in students while developing effective communication skills, enabling them to meet employer expectations and pursue higher studies.

Process of dissemination among stakeholders:
- The Vision, Mission and PEOs of the program are published at the institution so that all the
stakeholders can have the access. - The Departmental Vision and Mission are displayed at eminent locations where all internal and
external stakeholders can view it. - The Vision and Mission are spread during the induction or orientation program and circulated
through the parent’s meetings. - Head of the department introduces the department Vision, Mission and PEOs during the
induction of the newly admitted students at the commencement of semester. Also these are
displayed at the notice boards, lab files, display boards in the corridor of the department, etc. - Departmental Vision, Mission and PEOs get disseminated to external stakeholders through
college website and all meetings organized by department like Alumni Meet, Employer/IIIC
meet, Parent Meet etc.
Engineering Knowledge:
Apply the knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals, and an engineering specialization to the solution of complex engineering problems.
Problem Analysis:
Identify, formulate, review research literature, and analyze complex engineering problems reaching substantiated conclusions using first principles of mathematics, natural sciences, and engineering sciences.
Design / Development of Solutions:
Design solutions for complex engineering problems and design system components or processes that meet the specified needs with appropriate consideration for the public health and safety, and the cultural, societal, and environmental considerations.
Conduct investigations of complex problems:
Use research-based knowledge and research methods including design of experiments, analysis and interpretation of data, and synthesis of the information to provide valid conclusions.
Modern Tool Usage:
Create, select, and apply appropriate techniques, resources, and modern engineering and IT tools including prediction and modeling to complex engineering activities with an understanding of the limitations.
The engineer and society:
Apply reasoning informed by the contextual knowledge to assess societal, health, safety, legal and cultural issues and the consequent responsibilities relevant to the professional engineering practice.
