ABOUT SAE Collegiate Club
SAEINDIA is an affiliate society of SAE International registered in India as an Indian nonprofit engineering and scientific society dedicated to the advancement of mobility industry in India.
SAEINDIA is a professional engineering society whose membership represents practically every engineering and scientific discipline. Its members combine their specialized abilities to further advance the research, development, design, manufacture and utilization of vehicles which operate on land, water, air and space.
By becoming a member of SAEINDIA students become a part of a global organization whose benefits are geared specifically to the needs of the mobility engineering community. Formal education and professional development will be enhanced through SAEINDIA member benefits. The SAE (Society of Automotive Engineers) India Collegiate Club, Nutan Maharashtra Institute of Engineering & Technology College has started club this year.
WHY SHOULD YOU JOIN SAE-NMIET COLLEGIATE CLUB?
SAE Collegiate Club of NMIET, established in 2020. Member of SAE INDIA by default becomes member of SAE-NMIET Collegiate club. Club office bearers will do all formalities of membership of individual after receiving membership fees. This process helps to count individual as a member of SAE-NMIET Collegiate club. You will get all benefits of becoming member of SAEINDIA along with it SAE-NMIET COLLEGIATE CLUB gives you following benefits.
Members will be a part of a National organization with a link to SAE International, whose benefits are geared specifically to the needs of the mobility engineering community. SAE-NMIET COLLEGIATE CLUB :
The objectives of the SAE NMIET are:-
- To enhance the knowledge base of members who are mobility practitioners within institute
- To provide to its members access to SAE International magazines and encourage members to participate in different SAE competitions like BAJA, SUPRA, EFFICYCLE etc.
- To develop report writing and presentation abilities of students.
- To provide a forum for members to informally exchange views and ideas.
- To develop interaction of members with outside automotive world by organizing visits to renowned automotive sectors.

- 2 Days workshop on “Introduction to E-vehicle (E-BAJA)” by Vishwaracers from VIIT Team on 20th-21th February , 2021 in Virtual (WebEx Meeting) 150 Students participated.
