It gives me immense pleasure to welcome you to the Department of Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) at Nutan Maharashtra Institute of Engineering & Technology (NMIET), Talegaon, Pune. Beginning from the Academic Year 2025-26, this program, affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU), marks a significant milestone in our academic journey
The Department of BCA has been established with a vision to create a strong foundation in computer science and applications, while preparing students for the rapidly evolving IT industry. With an intake capacity of 120 students, admissions through the DTE CAP round, and an autonomous curriculum framework, we are committed to providing students with the perfect blend of academic excellence, practical exposure, and industry readiness.
Our department is enriched with highly qualified and dedicated faculty members who mentor students with passion and commitment. We emphasize not only on technical skills such as programming, software development, databases, and emerging technologies, but also on soft skills, communication, and professional ethics, which are equally vital for holistic growth.
At NMIET, we take pride in offering state-of-the-art infrastructure, including modern laboratories, smart classrooms, digital learning resources, and an industry-oriented ecosystem. Through workshops, seminars, guest lectures, internships, and hackathons, we encourage our students to go beyond the curriculum and explore their potential.
