Message from the Dean – Institute Innovation Council(IIC)

Dean – Institute Innovation Council
Innovation is the driving force behind progress, and it is our
responsibility as an academic institution to nurture creativity,
critical thinking, and problem-solving among our students and
faculty. The NMIET’s Institute Innovation Council (IIC) serves
as a dynamic platform to promote innovation, entrepreneurship,
and research culture within our campus.
Our objective is to inspire young minds to transform ideas into
impactful solutions that address real-world challenges. Through
workshops, expert talks, innovation challenges, start-up support,
and industry interaction, the Council actively encourages
students to explore new technologies, develop entrepreneurial
skills, and contribute meaningfully to society.
We believe that innovation flourishes in an environment that
supports experimentation, collaboration, and continuous
learning. The Institute Innovation Council is committed to creating such an ecosystem where ideas are nurtured, creativity is celebrated, and future leaders are
shaped.
I invite all students and faculty members to actively participate in the initiatives of the Institute
Innovation Council and take full advantage of the opportunities it offers. Together, let us build a
culture of innovation that leads to sustainable growth and societal advancement.

Major focus of IIC
- To create a vibrant local innovation ecosystem.
- Start-up supporting Mechanism in HEIs.
- Prepare institute for Atal Ranking of Institutions on Innovation Achievements Framework.
- Establish Function Ecosystem for Scouting Ideas and Pre-incubation of Ideas.
- Develop better Cognitive Ability for Technology Students.
Objectives The main objectives of NMIET’s IIC are:
- Skilling and training of students, faculty, Innovators and Entrepreneurs
- Identifying ideas, prototypes and translating them into product.
- Conducting Ideathons, Hackathons and Boot camps to develop interest among all students, faculties and Innovators.
- To create infrastructure for rapid prototyping and model development.
- Empowering start-ups for business technology and marketing support.
